NFU MA thesis award - Call for submissions

Have you written an excellent MA Thesis within the field of development?

NFU annually accepts submissions for its annual Master’s thesis award. The award will go to a Master’s thesis that makes a contribution to the field of development, either by practical application or theoretical innovation. This field is broadly defined, and is not confined to the Global South.

Theses examined during 2011 or later are eligible for submission in 2012. The winner will be announced at the forthcoming conference in Oslo, autumn 2012.

Submission

Please submit the thesis, along with a scanned transcript of your MA grade, using the electronic form below. Please also attach a 1-page summary of your study and its contribution.

This summary will be used to screen submissions in an initial round of evaluation.

The evaluation committee consists of members of the NFU board.

The award is 10,000 NOK.

The submission deadline is 1 August 2012.
